Transfer Application Boot Camp

The Transfer Application Boot Camp is a 3-day workshop offered by the University Transfer Center. It provides early exposure and in-depth support for students completing UC and CSU transfer applications.

Through personalized assistance and tailored workshops, the Boot Camp helps students submit strong, competitive applications as early as possible.

Who Can Participate? This program is open to all Oxnard College students who meet the minimum transfer requirements for UC and/or CSU campuses. Space is limited.

Important Updates for 2026 Applicants

Although the 2025 Application Boot Camp has already passed, we are still here to help! Students planning to apply for Fall 2026 can receive assistance with applications for campuses that are still accepting submissions.

Spring 2027 Applications: These will open July 1–31, 2026. Not all campuses offer Spring admission, but we will provide additional workshops for those that do.
Fall 2026 CSU Applications: These will open earlier this year on August 1, 2026.

We will once again offer the Transfer Application Boot Camp during the first week of August 2026. Details will be announced soon — stay tuned!

The UTC, in partnership with some other departments, will organize University Field trips to help students have a better look at campus options, meet with students in different areas and learn about campus life. Check this section to learn more about upcoming field trips or visit our Linktr.ee

Each spring, the University Transfer Center (UTC) hosts its annual Transfer Recognition Ceremony to honor Oxnard College students for their hard work and dedication in preparing to transfer to the university of their choice.

During the event, we celebrate our students’ achievements with:

A Certificate of Appreciation
Inspiring guest speakers
A catered luncheon

This special ceremony gives students the opportunity to share their academic journey and transfer success with fellow students, faculty, and staff.

2026 Transfer Recognition Ceremony Date: Friday, May 15, 2026 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Location: PAB (Performing Arts Building)

Students transferring in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027 are invited to attend and may bring one guest.

RSVP Deadline: Thursday, May 7, 2026
