Student Health Center

  • Dr. Deanna McFadden, Health Center Coordinator Welcomes You

Oxnard College remains committed to ensure your health and safety during this challenging time.  Visits will be a little different, but we are still here for you.

We will provide services via telehealth Zoom as well as limited on-site in person services by appointment only to enrolled students.  Students will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and possible exposure at an outdoor location by trained screeners, before being allowed to enter buildings.

  • IMPORTANT SPRING SEMESTER 2022 UPDATE:

Student Health Center will be open for student services starting  January 10th for Tele-health visits primarily.  Please call us or email us directly for additional information about our limited in person services.

Mental Health appointments will also be via zoom until further notice.

As you prepare for the upcoming semester, please be aware that the Ventura County Community College District has mandated COVID-19 vaccinations on all its campuses including Oxnard College. This means that you will need to be fully vaccinated (i.e., your shot(s) plus two weeks) in order to come on campus, and you will need to upload proof of vaccination to the MyVCCCD app

If you have an approved medical or religious exemption, you will need to take two PCR COVID-19 tests each week and upload them to the MyVCCCD app. You will need to upload your test results by noon on Sundays in order to come to campus the following week, no exceptions. For information on how to apply for an exemption, please see the "vaccine exemptions" section of this website down below. Your weekly test results must include:

    • Test type: PCR only
    • Your full name
    • Your date of birth
    • Date of test
    • Test result

If any of the above information is missing, the result will not be accepted.
