The Division of Science and Mathematics builds on Oxnard College's designation by the US Department of Education as a Hispanic-Serving Institution(HSI). The Division understands that Serving and Servingness are multidimensional (Garcia et al., 2022). We measure student success through this framework to include student self-identification for all fields within the division. The Division leads with a lens on social justice, equity and inclusion, and creates solutions with a focus on the student experience.
