Why Library Instruction?
The Oxnard College Library Instruction program aims to build information competency in students and uses the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education as a guide for all library instruction activities. The program supports Institutional Student Learning Outcome 6 - Information Retrieval and Technological Competency: Student demonstrates the ability to find, organize, understand, critically examine and use information from various sources using a variety of technologies.
