ASL Interpreter Request for OC Events/Activities/Meetings

Notice

Recently, the Educational Assistance Center has had an increase in requests from faculty and staff for interpreting services for OC events, activities, and meetings. In an effort to make sure we provide the best services, not only to our OC students, but also to our OC community at large, we are providing an online request form. Utilizing this form will help keep things organized and calendared.

Request an Interpreter

The following link will take you to a request form to fill out if you need an interpreter. By utilizing this system, we are hoping to streamline your requests, making it easier for everyone to help make our campus as accessible and as Deaf and Hard-of Hearing friendly as possible.

The form will require the date and time services will be needed, the length of the event, FAOP, and a general description of the nature of the event (i.e. lecture, one-on-one meeting, workshop, etc.). The DSPS Specialist may contact you with follow-up questions to ensure we find an appropriate fit for your event.
