The Oxnard College Public Safety Division offers Firefighter I & Firefighter II Academy, AS Degree in Fire Technology, Wildland Academy, Lifeguard Academy, and EMT Courses. All programs are offered in state-of- the-art facilities located at the Camarillo Airport site at 104 Durley Ave, Camarillo, CA 93010.
Our faculty and management have many years of experience in their field. Our Fire Academy and Fire Technology instructors are either current or retired firefighters, and our EMT instructors are experienced paramedics or registered nurses. We are dedicated to student success and take pride in providing a comprehensive educational program that prepares people for careers in public safety.
