To be eligible, you:
- Must be a Channel Islands or Hueneme high school student enrolled in grades 9-12 (or if currently in 8th grade, if you will be enrolled at either high school the following academic year, you are eligible as well)
Additional Qualifications
You must also meet at least one of the following- you do NOT need to meet all of the below:
- Be a first-generation college student; meaning that neither parent has received a four-year (bachelor's) degree
OR
- Meet specific taxable income guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Education
OR
- Are academically struggling as evidenced by GPA and/or state test scores
