OpenOffice:  OpenOffice.org is a "free and open productivity suite" for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. It is a free alternative to similar software suites, and can read and save files using the formats of other common office programs.

SourceForge:  A premier source for open-source software. Here you can find many free or low-cost alternatives to many commercial programs.

Online Course Directory:  A free and comprehensive resource that is a collection of open college courses featuring videos, audio lectures, and notes given by professors a Harvard, Princeton and MIT.  Some of the courses include iPhone Application Development from Stanford and Cyber Humor from Oxford.
