Emergency Medical Responder

Emergency Medical Technicians are trained to save lives. To be first responders. To manage life-threatening emergencies with expertise and dynamism. They’re one of the first on a scene in a crisis, providing basic life support care. If you’re excited about being on the frontlines of the medical profession and are looking to launch a rewarding, high-growth career, our EMT program will give you the skills and certifications you need to start.

In just six weeks, you’ll combine theoretical learning with practical hands-on training. You’ll get a solid foundation in human anatomy and understand how to assess injuries and vitals, provide immediate medical care to critical patients with minimal equipment, and perform a variety of rescue and triage operations.

Our EMT program is approved by the Ventura County Emergency Medical Services Agency and the California State Department of Emergency Services. Successful graduates are eligible to take the National Registry Exam for Emergency Medical Responder certification. Many then choose to advance their skills by taking our Emergency Medical Responder II program. Some then move on to our Fire Technology Program and Regional Fire Academy.

The EMT field makes for a valuable, adventurous career with excellent growth opportunities and stable employment. Designed to launch your professional path, our program will provide you with marketable new skills and expertise..
