OC STEM Circuit
The Loss Momentum Framework guides our work. Following this theory our connections begin as early as third grade. All seven of K-8 districts in the OC service area have signed MOUs for partnership with OC. The goal of providing OC STEM Circuit is to have tomorrow’s innovative STEM professionals point to the Oxnard Plains as their childhood home and the birthplace of their professional passion.
Aim of the Effort:
1. OC STEM Circuit serves as a guided pathway from eighth grade all the way to college/university/career
2. Provides articulating tactics to prepare for higher education
3. Shifts the perception of Oxnard College to an esteemed STEM focused institution where innovators get their start
