ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM CC STUDENTS - UCLA Engineering SURP Summer Program
UCLA Samueli Engineering is once again reaching out to our community college partners to help share information about our Summer Undergraduate Research Program with your students.
The Engineering Transfer Center at UCLA works with our Undergraduate Research Program to offer opportunities to community college students. In addition to the SURP components, CC participants will also receive some tailored workshops to help them learn more about applying to UCLA Engineering and maximizing their time once they transfer.

American Conservation Experience (ACE)
The American Conservation Experience (ACE), a non-profit conservation corps that partners with federal agencies to provide paid internships for young professionals within the field of conservation.
There is currently a position working with the Channel Islands National Park as an Archaeology member. The position partners with our Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program (CRDIP), whose mission is to introduce students, from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the National Parks, to career opportunities within Cultural Resource Management in the National Park Service.
This is a great paid opportunity to get hands-on experience working with cultural resources within the National Park Service.

The Upward Bound Program at Channel Islands High School (CIHS), focuses on providing free services to high school students at CIHS that want to excel in school and continue their post-secondary education.
