Oxnard College’s OMEGA program will be hosting a workshop on Growth Mindset! Monday, April 11th at 1pm via zoom present by the Director of STEM Dr. Klein Williams. Learn about the benefits of having a growth mindset. Gain a mindset to help you learn and grow in different aspects of your life.  Studies have shown that people with a growth mindset tend to learn and achieve more than people with a fixed mindset. With a Growth Mindset, you can believe that you are in control of your abilities. Mindsets have a major influence in your ability to achieve!

Please share this opportunity with students who:
•  Want to earn $6000 during Summer 2022
•  Can commit 10 weeks to living on Purdue's campus and conducting research in both an independent and team based environment
•  Want to learn about applied energy academic research and real-world customer discovery commercialization research
•  *Are engineering or engineering technology majors
•  *Are entering their junior or senior year
•  *Identify as a federally recognized underrepresented minority (URM)
•   *Are enrolled at a federally recognized Minority Serving Institution (e.g., Historically Black College and University, Hispanic Serving Institution, Tribal College and University)
