Oxnard College's OC STEM program is excited to offer a "Summer University Preparation Program" at UC Santa Barbara for first or second year STEM students with the intention to transfer to a 4-year university. This is a FREE program which includes food and housing at UCSB at zero cost to participants for the week of July 13th - July17th.
During this week at UCSB, students will learn how to navigate university transfer and support academic completion by focusing on:
- Fostering resilience
- Generating academic and social goals to achieve university degree completion
- Navigating the campus environment
- Understanding university resources
- Building community connections
