Join us for this special experience with professional speaker Dr. Daniel E. Walker on Thurday, April 23rd from 5:00pm - 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Building (PAB) as part of Diversity & Culture Week. There will be a meet and greet with refreshments to follow in the Blackbox from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. This is a free event open to all.
Dr. Daniel E. Walker’s one man show traces the formation of a public voice—and what it means to use that voice responsibly, purposefully, and in service to the world. It is a disciplined journey across faith, comedy, hip hop, history, and lived action, showing how words move from the microphone into people’s lives, institutions, and communities.
The experience ends with dialogue, reflection, and questions —because The Art of Public Speaking is not about performancealone, but about what audiences will do once they leave the room.
