Oxnard College presents our 34th High School Geography Competition “GEO Challenge.” This is our annual high school competition where students compete individually and as teams on their knowledge of the world with topics in: earth science, history, geopolitics, current events, and the environment.

This event is open to high school classes and clubs that focus on physcial sciences and social studies. Our theme this year is “Water World” and the competition questions may focus on oceans, rivers, lakes, groundwater, precipitation, glaciers, etc. Students will participate in an individual written competition and then compete as a team for prizes and trophies.

Date: Saturday, November 15th
Time: 8:00am – 12:30pm
Location: Letters and Science Building at Oxnard College

This event will take place in the Letters and Science building (near the clock tower) and in the Gym on the Oxnard College campus. Parking will be in Lots A & B (entrances off of Rose Ave. and Bard Road).
