Ethnic Studies Speaker Series: Dark waters, rising voices: race, relief, and resistance in disaster

Join Dr. José Alamillo, Program Chair and Professor in Chicana/o Studies at CSU Channel Islands, on Tuesday, April 21st from 4pm - 5pm in LS-8 as part of Diversity & Culture Week.

By centering both injustice and resistance, this talk invites audiences to rethink disaster relief, recognize the role of race in shaping recovery, and honor the enduring power of community-led action.
