OC Help Desk

Telephone - Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm @ x5898i

You can assist the Help Desk staff by being prepared to answer the following questions:

Your username and phone extension. If you have not used the Help Desk before you will also be asked the following questions:

* Your department

* Your telephone number

* Your location

* The asset tag number (silver in color) of your computer. This is the bar code attached to your computer or notebook.

A complete description of your problem or your question. Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages.

If it is not possible to resolve your problem over the telephone you will be given an incident number. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your incident it will assist the staff to quickly locate your incident.

Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages. You will be emailed an incident number. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your incident it will assist the staff to quickly locate your incident.

Walk-in - Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm:

The Help Desk located next to OCTV in the LLR building. You may also bring your problem or question to the Help Desk. Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages. You will be given an work order number by the staff member on duty. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your work order it will assist the staff to quickly locate your work order.
