  1. How do I get the information I need to get a course through the curriculum review process?

    Every department on campus should have a curriculum committee representative to help facilitate the curriculum process. The curriculum committee members are listed at the bottom of this page. The links at the top of this page contain the curriculum flow chart and the curriculum handbook which are vital resources that describe the curriculum process. In addition, there are several information and training sessions throughout the academic year.

  2. How can I send course outlines to the OC Curriculum Group from home for a tech review?

    Go to www.vcccd.edu/mail and Login to WebMail. If you can not Login you will need to click on the link Account Request and setup a web based email account with the District. Once you have an account you will be able to send an email to the OC CurriculumGrp.

  3. I submitted a course outline and I am not sure where the course stands in the review process. When is the course going to have a first or second reading? What is the next step in the process?

    Visit your Dept. Curriculum Committee Representative. Also, you can check the status by clicking on Minutes and Agenda links below. As a last resort you can contact Betty Hough for a course outline status update, Office of Student Learning, 805-986-5814. If a course does not complete the entire curriculum review process it may become out of date and puts the course in jeopardy of not being offered.
