• counselor assistance in planning your academic course of study
• assistance with timely completion of necessary applications and
  scholarships
• tours of four-year colleges and universities
• "how to" transfer workshops
• personalized contact with representatives from four-year institutions
• transfer admission guarantees (TAGs)

Resources:

• a resource library of college catalogs, reference materials, national
  guides to universities, Oxnard College articulation agreements
• applications to CSU, UC and private colleges
• computer workstations to access transfer information on the internet:
  ASSIST, CSU Mentor, UC Transfer, Collegesource, etc.
• the transfer calendar of events

Special Events:

• Transfer and Career Day takes place in the fall semester. Fall 2009 Transfer and Career Day is scheduled forThursday, September 24th from 10:00am - 1:00pm in front of the new Student Services and Administration Building.  Put your best foot forward and talk to representatives and hiring managers from employers in Ventura County. Meet with representatives from UCs, CSUs, out-of-state and private/independent universities!
• On-Site Admissions Day takes place in the spring semester

Field Trips:

• University of California, Santa Barbara Field Trip- Spring (March)

• Cal State University of Channel Islands Field Trip-Spring Term (April)

• Cal Lutheran University-Spring (April)

Special Programs:

• Transfer Transition Workshop - Coordinated by Cal State University Channel Islands specifically for Fall admits/hosted at Oxnard College.
