Oxnard College Athletics is starting a new organization called the Condor Club. This a support organization dedicated to fostering the heritage and tradition of Oxnard athletics by building a broad-based body of former, current, and future members of the OC family committed to advancing an agenda of assistance to athletic activities and projects.

Why? With the reduction of money from general fund on the horizon, we will need to fundraise through a booster club to supplement our operational budget. As you know to run competitive programs with proper support for students and for them to have positive experiences, funds are needed. Without these funds sports programs will be dropped from our department.

Capital Campaign for Athletics

There is a long list of needs to make OC one of the top Athletic programs in California. Without proper equipment and facilities, the department will struggle to provide positive experiences for the student-athletes, coaches and fans. We desperately need the OC family to help us!

A comprehensive plan is being drawn up and will be posted here in the near future.

Hall of Champions - Coming in the Fall of 2009

With the official dedication ceremonies of the Hall of Champions set for the Fall of 2009 (watch this site for date and details), imagine the challenge ahead with the undaunted task of seeking, collecting, assembling, prioritizing, and tagging mountains of memorabilia that will be considered for showcasing in the hall. We urge all generations of our growing Condor Club membership to keep an eye open for historical material (photos, garments, trophies, news clips, assorted relics) that you may possess or have knowledge of where pertinent artifacts are located.
