Success Academy
What is the Success Academy?
A learning place offering an alternative to the traditional classroom specializing in mastery of basic English, writing, reading, and math. This is an independent learning environment where the lessons are presented on the computer, but instructors and tutors are available to answer questions as you go along. Traditional 3 - 5 unit courses are broken into smaller unit segments so students can schedule the units as they are ready.

How much time does it take to complete a unit?

Each unit has a minimum time commitment of 34 hours. Some students finish early, some take longer. This program allows you to go determine your own pace as long as you meet minimum weekly requirements and your pace allows you to pass your unit by the end of the semester.
-
This is an open entry- open exit program, so students coming in later in the semester will need to schedule more hours per week than those students starting at the beginning.
- At orientation, the instructor will calculate the minimum number of hours needed each week.
