6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

OC LIVE invites you to join us for “Truth or Consequences: Misinformation in the Age of Social Media” presented by Oxnard College Science Professor Jim Danza on Tuesday, March 12th at 6pm in the beautiful Oxnard College Performing Arts Building.

The bad news: We live in an age defined by existential threats. The good news: We have the information to solve most of these threats.  This should be easy — but it’s not. Everything from misinformation campaigns to the barriers of the human mind prevent resolution. Learn how you can sift through the noise to discover what is real, when to believe, and most importantly, how to take action.

This is a FREE event that is open to the public. No tickets are necessary. Parking is FREE in Lot “H”. Find all of our livestreams and event information on the web at oxnardcollege/oclive.
