Are you a soon to be first-time college student who recently decided on Oxnard College?

OC is available in April to virtually assist you through the application process and to earn priority registration. Priority registration begins on May 2nd and is the opportunity to register at the front of the first-year student line.

Preparing for registration happens in 3 steps:

Step 1: Apply to OC

Apply to OC anytime via our online application.  Want help completing this step? We offer live assistance every weekday between 8am and 5pm. Contact our Welcome Center for application and student portal assistance.

Step 2: Attend an OC Pathways Workshop

Once you've applied and know your student ID or 900 number, you can register for the Pathways Workshop that works best for your schedule. This workshop is a prerequisite and will prime you for your individual counseling appointment. Workshops happen on Wednesdays and Thursdays and you can schedule yourself for the time that works best for you.

Step 3: Create an Ed Plan with an OC Counselor

This final step happens at the end of your OC Pathways Workshop. During your individual counseling appointment you will create an Ed Plan for your time at Oxnard College. You will use your Ed Plan to register for the courses you need to meet your academic goals.
