SEED: The Untold Story is an award-winning documentary that reveals one of the most critical issues of our time, illuminating a global tragedy that is virtually unknown to the public. In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. SEED bears witness to our 12,000-year history of agriculture seen through the eyes of seed keepers, scientists, farmers and indigenous people who are stewarding our food into the future.
This OC LIVE presentation will begin with a screening of the award-winning documentary SEED: The Untold Story. Following the film, sociology professors from Oxnard College will speak briefly about relevant issues raised in the film leaving time for the audience to ask questions and join the conversation.
