Finish!  Project Acabado STEM begins with the end in mind.  

It’s 2032 and a crowd innovative STEM professionals point to the Oxnard Plains as their childhood home and the birthplace of their professional passion.   This beautifully diverse community, with a valued mix of culture and language, is the backdrop of their story.  The story of their beginnings describe the aim of today’s educators, learners, families, community and systems thinkers.  

We believe:
  1. STEM innovation is driven by diversity.

  2. STEM innovation is stewarded by individuals working together creatively.  

  3. Underrepresented populations have unique assets to be successful and contribute in a STEM driven world.

Mission: Finish!  Project Acabado STEM begins with the end in mind.  Educators, learners, families, communities and systems thinkers aim to cultivate the conditions for future STEM professionals to get their start.
