Financial Aid Workshops

The FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid) workshop is designed to assist Oxnard College Students in filling out and submitting their FAFSA Application.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:
Due to the high volume of students that are attending the FAFSA workshops, we are now requiring that students have the necessary items needed to complete a FAFSA. To be admitted to a FAFSA workshop, all FAFSA Workshop Checksheet items need to be checked and signed by an Oxnard College Financial Aid Staff member. FAFSA workshops will be offered by appointment only, starting June 30, 2010.

If you filed a FAFSA for 2009-2010 and later, you will be required to pre-fill the following year's FAFSA (e.g. 2010-2011). To pre-fill data for the following year's FAFSA, you must have your PIN (and a parent, if you are a dependent) to access the pre-filled FAFSA on the Web application. You must have your PIN(s) to attend the FAFSA workshop. If you forgot your PIN, you can request a duplicate PIN on www.pin.ed.gov.

The FAFSA workshops are held every Wednesday in OE-3

• 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM (English & Spanish)

No late admissions, no exceptions!

You will need at least one or more of the following documents to complete the FAFSA application. Please bring the following:

• Income tax information (1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ) including W-2 forms (for you and your spouse, for dependent students you will need your parents' tax information)
• All other income (child support, housing, and other living allowances paid to members of the military or clergy
• Current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts
