Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGW)
What is the BOG (or BOGW) fee waiver?
The Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOG) is funded by the State of California to waive in full the amount of enrollment fees to eligible students who are California residents.
To qualify for this waiver, one of the following methods must be satisfied:
Method A
- You are receiving AFDC/TANF/CalWorks, SSI/SSP or General Relief (GR). Verification of benefits is required.
Method B
- You/your family meet the following income criteria:

Method C
- The 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is required to be completed and processed for Method C.
- The Financial Aid office will determine your unment need. A BOG fee waiver will be awarded to anyone with at least $1 of unmet need.
2012 - 2013 Board of Governors Fee Waiver Program
To qualify for the 2012-13 fee waiver, one of the following methods must be satisfied:
Method A

Method B
- You/your family meet the following income criteria:

These income standards are for the 2012-2013 academic year and are to be used to determine BOGFW-B eligibility EFFECTIVE July 1, 2012.
Method C
- The 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is required to be completed and processed for Method C.
- The Financial Aid office will determine your unment need. A BOG fee Waiver will be awarded to anyone with at least $1104 of unmet need.
