Women's Volleyball Coaching Staff
Women's Volleyball Head Coach: David Fischer
Fischer's prior coaching experience includes assisting positions at his alma maters: Stanford University and Santa Barbara High School. For the past seven years, he has held positions as Director of the Los Angeles Athletic Club and served as head coach for the boys and girls teams at The Brentwood School.
Fischer has been playing professional beach volleyball on the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) tour since 1998. In 2003 he was the United States' Pan Am Games representative in the Dominican Republic where he finished fourth with Brad Torsone. On the FIVB (Federation of International Volleyball), he has competed in the Ukraine, Switzerland, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. He played in New Zealand in January '07 with Ed Ratledge, making the semifinals in three of the five events. His longest partnerships were with John Hribar ('96-'00) and Jack Quinn ('03-'06).
After being chosen MVP of his Santa Barbara High School team, Fischer spent a year at UCLA as the five seat on the crew team. After a year he transferred to Stanford where he earned his Bachelor's degree and was a member of the team ranked #2 nationally his sophomore and senior years. His teammates there included Canyon Ceman, Mike Lambert, and Matt Fuerbringer.

Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach: Jill Changaris Muhe
Jill's head coaching experience includes Calabasas High School Varsity Boys coach and multiple head club coaching positions. In addition to experience as Pierce College and UC Davis's assistant coach, Changaris was an outside hitter at UC-Davis from 1993-96, Changaris was all-Region in 1995 and 96. Also named the conference MVP in 1996 when her team finished ranked 21st nationally. She left the school with her name in the top five career kills, digs and aces. She has seven years playing experience on the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour where she competed against some of the top women in the world including Holly McPeak, Kerri Walsh-Jennings, and Misty May-Treanor.
Currently she is the Head Athletic Trainer at Oxnard College.
