Coach Sherman's Philosophy

"A core of ethical standards are the foundation of my coaching philosophy. I first and foremost want to help student athletes achieve their goals in life. I believe this can happen by stressing and modeling the following values: Honesty, Responsibility, Trust, Respect, Self Motivation, and Tolerance. During my college years this approach was called 'Holistic Education.' It was aimed at developing the entire person. I believe that embracing these values will help a young person develop as a person and ultimately reach their individual goals."
