Current Projects

Outlook Email: We are moving from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook. We have completed testing and will begin our roll-out starting in August. IT will be contacting you directly during Fall semester to schedule a transition time.

Luminis: Our new portal system will be up and running this Fall semester. Through the portal, user will be able to access Banner, email, and WebStar services from a single location. Our roll-out date will announced shortly.

New Webpages: We have completed the transition to our new public facing webpages. We are still transitioning individual faculty pages. These pages are being completed asap.

Wireless: OC is going wireless. Initial access points will be on campus at the during Fall 2008. Additional points will be added throughout the academic year

Active Directory: In the future, when users log onto a campus machine, they will actually be logging onto the District network. Centralizing these services will save time and money, increase security, and allow a single sign-on for multiple services. This project will be part of the Outlook rollout.

new buildings; campus safety projects; energy efficiency project; MS SharePoint; resource scheduling solution; budget planning system.

College Technology Services provides campus-wide technology, media, switchboard, mailroom and copy/publications support.
