Civic Center

Oxnard College has classrooms, lecture halls and conference rooms equipped with video conferencing capability. In addition, we offer athletic fields, tennis courts and a 35,000 square foot multi-use gymnasium which is one of the newest facilities in California.

The gym was built in 1995 and has a seating capacity of approximately 1,200. It has the ability to host a variety of events with six basketball baskets and three volleyball courts.

The floor can be covered if necessary for any event. The new Oxnard College Sports Complex, which finished construction in 2006, is a $3 million dollar facility renovation funded by Measure “S” Bond Revenues.

The Complex will host intercollegiate Men’s and Women’s Track and field, Men’s Soccer and Women’s Soccer.

The facility will contain state-of-the-art 8 lane track and grass playing field and the bleacher system will accommodate 2500 spectators by November 2008.
