    Oxnard College’s First Year Experience (FYE) is a FREE year-long program geared towards incoming Oxnard College (OC) freshmen. The FYE program kicks off with its mandatory FYE Summer Orientation that include interactive community building activities and workshops to help you prepare for your academic and professional success.

    2023 - 2024 APPLICATION:

    If you wish to take advantage of Fall 2023 Priority registration you will need to submit your completed FYE application, Oxnard College Orientation, and Educational Plan (ED Plan) by March 30, 2023.

    FYE APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 14, 2023. Submit your FYE Application as soon as possible, space is limited.

    ELIGIBILITY:
    • Recent High School graduate 2023
    • Oxnard College must be your primary college
    • Full-time student (12 + units per semester)
    • Complete online, in-person or counselor run orientation
    • Complete Math or English placement (Multiple Measures) and meet with an FYE counselor for an educational plan by July 14, 2023

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Apply for admission to Oxnard College
    • Complete the FYE application
    • Complete Oxnard College Orientation
    • Complete English & Math placement
    • Have an abbreviated education plan (ASEP)
    • Be enrolled as “Full Time” student
    • Attend mandatory FYE Summer Orientation
