The computer lab in the LRC does not have the SAM assessment tool installed. Plan ahead so that you don't miss out on your attendance hours.

Microsoft OFFICE 2007 AND Windows XP students:
You have a new instructor: Lloyd Stanton. He is not new to the lab but he is taking over instructor responsibilities for both CIS R21A and CIS R022A. Carmen Guerrero is transitioning over to him all student records, grades, and attendance. Please email Lloyd with any questions you have. Note that syllabi for both classes have been revised as has the Instructor Schedule. Please download those revised documents.

February 4, 1:30 pm ~ SAM 2007 now up & running!

Microsoft OFFICE 2007 students:
Please create your SAM 2007 user accounts. Visit the "SAM 2007" webpage by clicking on the left navigation panel. Please read the information before attempting to create your user account. DO NOT PRINT the Student Manual in the lab, it is 30 pages! Print the manual off-campus or at the library (10cents per page is charged). Thank you for your patience in waiting for SAM 2007 to be up and running. You will have access to the exams in the next day or two.

Welcome to the Spring 2008 Semester in the Computer Skills Center at Oxnard College! The CSC will open at 9am on January 7 in OE-3. All students enrolled in CIS R020A, R021A, R022, R024A, R025A, R026B, and R123A are to report to OE-3 for a required orientation. The orientation session will provide information for all courses and discuss course and program policies and procedures, such as attendance, instructor assistance, assignment submittal, and testing.

Orientation Schedule:

Day & afternoon orientations will be given on January 7 through 18 in lab OE-3 as follows: Monday through Thursday at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Friday at 9am and 11 am.

Late afternoon and evening orientations will be given January 7 through 17 in lab LA-7 as follows:

Monday through Thursday at 5pm and 7pm
