Oxnard College’s Geography Professor Danza will inspire you to break your boundaries and travel abroad. Using stunning photos and videos from his journeys, he discusses how to have the right perspective as a traveler and how to break boundaries as a visitor. You will learn tips and tricks of travel and how to make the trip affordable.
 

Assistant Professor Jim Danza Bio:


Professor Jim Danza

Jim Danza is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Oxnard College.  His travels have taken him to most of North America and 27 countries (so far).  He enjoys hiking andbackpacking but most of all, he enjoys taking students on local trips and teaching them about the world around them.

He earned degrees in Geography and Environmental Studies and is a certified planner under American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).  His professional experience includes water resources and environmental planning, including lead civilian planner at Naval Base Ventura County totaling 21 years.

Courses include Physical Geography with Lab, Weather and Climate, and California and World Geography.
