Oxnard College Beta Rho Tau Honor Society Members Join Phi Theta Kappa Charter on October 21, 2009 – Fifty-three Oxnard College students celebrated on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, as Dr. Carolyn Dorrance and Dr. Lori Buckley, advisors for Oxnard College’s new Beta Rho Tau chapter of the national Phi Theta Kappa honor society, hosted the formal induction ceremony for charter members in the LS-8 Clocktower Auditorium. Presiding over the ceremony and representing the Phi Theta Kappa national organization was Barbara Murray, who, with Oxnard President Richard Duran, presented the charter and plaque for the new chapter. Officers of the newly chartered Beta Rho Tau organization include Justin Bricker, President, Katie Pierce, Vice President, Breana Sanchez, Secretary, and Charles Maxey, Treasurer.
