"Alternative Medicines and Healing: How to Use Our Mind Effectively” - In celebration of Women's History Month, Reichian trainer Pat Barrett will describe alternative healing techniques for women. She is a guest speaker at the Oxnard College Re-Entry Noon Program.

"Women in the Hebrew Bible: A Feminist Perspective" - In celebration of Women's History Month, former counselor and educator Lillian Hawthorne will retell stories about the lives of several female biblical characters, including Esther and Judith. The forum will be held in the LS-8 Clock Tower Auditorium from 1 to 2 p.m.

"The Best of the Fest" -- Features a selection of the most outstanding animated films and videos from previous years of the 'California SUN International Animation Festival" first established at CSUN four years ago by Jack Reilly, now Professor of Art at California State University, Channel Islands. This nearly 2-hour presentation features animation in various categories, such as experimental, traditional and computer animation from the U.S. and other countries, including a number of Academy Award nominees from previous years. The festival will begin at 7:30 p.m. in LA-6 (The Forum) at Oxnard College, 4000 S. Rose Avenue, Oxnard.
