The Organizational and Professional Development (OPD) initiative is pleased to announce that several staff development workshops have been scheduled throughout the Fall. Workshop Schedules were handed out during "All College Day" and were also e-mailed to all employees. Those who did not receive a copy should send an e-mail to Vilma P. Contreras at vcontreras@vcccd.edu requesting a schedule. To register for workshops, send an e-mail to Ms. Contreras requesting a registration form or send her an e-mail with the following information: the name and date of the workshop; the employee’s full name, position, and status (full or part-time), e-mail address and phone number and their supervisor’s name and e-mail. There are no costs associated with these workshops.

In September the first President's Forum has been scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. in room LS-8. The topic will be the local and county economy. All employees are welcome to attend.
