| The Oxnard College Child Development Center’s Parent Advisory Committee will sponsor its first annual Hometown Buffet Fundraising Breakfast on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the restaurant located at 1901 Lockwood Street, next to Best Buy in the Rose Shopping Center in Oxnard.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of new children’s books and other educational materials for the preschoolers, toddlers and infants, said center director Kim Karkos. The partnership with Hometown Buffet will give the OC Child Development Center a portion of the proceeds from tickets sold to supporters of the program and members of the college community who patronize the restaurant the morning of April 26.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children from five to 12 years of age and can be purchased from the Child Development Center.
