SCORE Workshops to be Offered for Summer 2009 – Oxnard College students and community members can attend a series of five workshops plus a BONUS workshops -- a total of six sessions -- offered by the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) beginning June 13 and held on alternate Saturdays, in conjunction with the Center for International Trade Development (CITD) at Oxnard College and co-sponsored by the Economic & Workforce Development division of the California Community Colleges. The workshops will continue through August 22nd. The workshops include “Start, Grow and Succeed,” (June 13); “Marketing Plan and Sales Strategy,” (June 27); “Financials and Cash Management,” (July 11); “Building a Better Business Plan – A How-to Approach,” (July 25); “Growing, Managing and Operating Your Business,” (August 8). The BONUS workshop is “Internet Marketing,” (August 22).
Registration is $39 per session at the door and admission for the complete session is $159 (regularly $195.00) for the full series and $183 for the full series plus the Bonus workshop. A late registration fee of $5.00 will be charged for at the door registration.
