SPRING INTO ACTION
A Special “Register Now!!!”Campaign Oxnard College is offering a special Spring into Action campaign that is being launched to encourage and facilitate early Spring Registration among our Continuing Students. Here’s how it works:
1. Priority registration for the upcoming spring semester will run from November 14th to November 23rd and Continuing Students with an email address on file will be sent an email reminding them to check the college website for their individual priority registration appointment (www.oxnardcollege.edu/webstar).
2. All staff and faculty have been asked to participate in this “Spring into Action” campaign by taking a few moments to talk with students about:
· the importance of a college education;
· the importance of meeting with a counselor if they need assistance; and, especially,
· the importance of using Priority Registration to enroll early for the Spring 2006 semester.
3. Additionally, we would encourage faculty members to take a few minutes to speak with your class about the next course in their discipline sequence, should a student want to continue in that discipline.
By instituting this on-campus SPRING INTO ACTION campaign, Oxnard College can provide enhanced support to students as they register.
