| OC MARINE STUDIES NOAA GRANT AIRS ON CNN HEADLINE NEWS
OC Marine Science professor Dr. Lori Buckley and her staff were recently interviewed about the Marine Studies National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) grant at the Marine Education Center at Channel Islands Harbor for a TV news feature with Carmen Gomez of the Time Warner Cable show "Local Edition."
The interviews went so well that the news feature is scheduled to air on the CNN Headline News Channel 47 from August 27 thru August 29 throughout Ventura County.
Ms. Gomez said viewers can also find the "SoCal News" segments on the CNN Headline News Channel 47 at 24 minutes and/or 54 minutes after the hour. They will be in rotation with "Local Edition and "Inside Dodgers Baseball" segments and will run throughout the day, except during "prime time" hours.
Each of the news segments is also available for viewing OnDemand for free to Time Warner Digital Cable subscribers. To find these digital news segments tune to Channel 1 , select Local, select In The Community and then select SoCal News and then the segment of your choice. The segment is found under :placeVENTURA as well as the original air date. Ventura SoCal News segments will be available for approximately two weeks.
