OXNARD COLLEGE JOINS CQIN
Oxnard College has become a member of the Continuous Quality Improvement Network (CQIN), the professional organization which assists CEOs in sharing innovative ideas and initiatives based on the principles of continuous improvement of educational institutions.
OC joins its sister colleges and the Ventura County Community College District in working towards the goal of "active organizational transformation" through the sharing of best practices and the development of strategies to energize active institutional learning for faculty, staff and trustees.
"I believe you will enjoy the opportunity to interact and learn from the other CEOs of CQIN," wrote CQIN President Charlotte J. Lee in her letter of welcome to Oxnard College Interim President Michael Gregoryk.
CQIN was first modeled after the League for Innovation in the Community Colleges in 1991 by a founding group of community college presidents who were dedicated to Total Quality Management principles and practices as way of continuously improving their institutions. |
