| Oxnard College Marine Center & Aquarium Presents the Harborside Speaker Series on Sunday, November 15, 2009 – Kevin Flint, who has taught environmental science for thirty years, will talk about “Green Pathways to the Future – Careers in Environmental Science,” in a free lecture on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Oxnard College Marine Center & Aquarium located on the corner of Channel Islands Boulevard and Victoria Avenue. In his lecture Flint will discuss how careers in the environmental area are expanding in California, the United States and internationally. Flint has worked overseas in the U.S. Peace Corps, developing and instructing outdoor educational curriculum in California’s State Parks and operating field-based programs in Mexico and the South Pacific. More recently he has taught classes in environmental science at the high school and community college level. |
