Oxnard College Seeks Artists and Vendors for “Multicultural Arts Day” on October 8
Oxnard College is seeking community involvement and artists and vendors for the third annual “Oxnard College Multicultural Arts Day” to be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.
The theme for the day-long event is “The Colorful World We Live In” and features a wide array of traditional foods, music, dance, art and lectures that reflect the rich diversity of the Oxnard community. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oxnard College campus, 4000 South Rose Avenue, Oxnard.
The event is organized under the leadership of the Multicultural Arts Days Planning Committee, which includes representatives from the OC Classified Senate, the OC Foundation, the Associated Student Government and faculty and college support staff. The success of this event will depend on college staff, teaching and non-teaching faculty and the participation from knowledgeable and enterprising individuals from the community at large.
