OC ECONOBUS CLUB HOSTS ENTREPRENEUR EVENT DECEMBER 8
The Economics and Business (EconoBus) Club of Oxnard College is hosting an entrepreneur event on Monday, December 8th from 1pm – 4 pm in the Oxnard College Student Center with representatives from SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) making a presentation, "Starting Your Own Business." The workshop will provide students, faculty and staff with useful information on starting their own business. EconoBus Club co-advisor Sunil Trivedi said the workshop will provide an overview of issues related to starting or buying a business and will guide participants by helping them to avoid the pitfalls that most small businesses face. Topics include “Choosing the right business,” “Marketing – the key to your success,” and “Where to find financing to start your business.”
The information will be presented by experienced entrepreneurs from the Ventura County chapter of SCORE and the Oxnard College Center for International Trade Development (CITD), who are providing support for this event.
