| HABITAT FOR HUMANITY TO BUILD HOMES FOR TWO OXNARD FAMILIES
Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County will be holding a Family Selection Orientation meeting for two homes in Oxnard. Low-income families currently living in sub-standard housing in Oxnard may be eligible to apply for the two Habitat homes. The orientation will include an overview of Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County as well as an outline of the qualification requirements, and application procedures.
The orientation will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 8:00 a.m. and Tuesday, July 16th, 5:00 p.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Parish Hall located at 144 South “C” Street, in Oxnard. If you would like to learn more about applying for a Habitat Home in Oxnard, be sure to attend one of the meetings listed above. Attendance at one of the orientations is required. Applications will not be given out to individuals that do not attend an orientation.
Founded in 1983, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County is the oldest Habitat affiliate in California. Our mission is to eliminate substandard housing and make affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action throughout Ventura County. Using donated land, labor and materials, we build homes in partnership with low-income families, using the principles of “sweat equity,” no profit, and no interest loans.
