| Oxnard College Foundation Seeking Applicants for Bernard Osher Scholarship – It may be the end of summer, but thanks to the generosity of The Bernard Osher Foundation student scholarships are now available as part of the California Community Colleges Scholarship Endowment. Mr. Osher’s vision is to “not only benefit the community college students of today but countless more for years to come.” Students interested in applying for Osher Scholarship must return a completed application with a valid transcript by Thursday, July 30, 2009, to the Oxnard College Foundation office in the Community Student Services Center (CSSC), room 131. Eligible students must be currently receiving the Board of Governor’s fee waiver through Financial Aid and must have completed 24 or more “degree applicable” semester units at the tie of the initial scholarship disbursement. The funds must be used only at Oxnard College. |
