CIS R098M Photoshop Studio II - (3 units) Held Thursdays from 7 to 9:50 p.m. Second part of the quick-paced "Adobe Photoshop" training where students learn advanced techniques working with digital images (digital "slicing" for example), touching up photos and creating website publications,
MST (Marine Studies) R175 Marine Sampling Tech/Field Research -- (3 units) Experimental study of ocean resources in natural settings aboard research vessels (the S.S. Shearwater) where students work with national park and sanctuary scientists using state-of-the-art technology to analyze data collected from the ocean floor. Students enrolled in MST 175 and BIOL 198A will be eligible for $2,500 student grants as a part of the Environmental Partnership program made possible by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration grant awarded to OC this past fall. |
