More than 35 employers will solicit job applications and interview potential candidates for employment at the Wednesday, April 9, 2008 Oxnard College Job Fair held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Letters and Science quad area near the OC Clocktower.
The event is open to the public.
The employers will staff information booths and job applicants are encouraged to “dress for success” and bring their typed resumes with them for on-site job referrals and job interviews. Local employers are looking for applicants interested in entry-level, part-time and summer internship positions, according Reggie Talili, Oxnard College Career Resources specialist.
The Job & Career Center offices will be made available for on-site interviews and application sessions. Applicants should remember to bring the following materials with them:
Copies of applicant resumes
Master application form
Personal and professional reference list
Letters of recommendation
Copies of certificates and diplomas
