Tickets Available for Oxnard College Foundation “Tardeada” Fundraiser on Sunday, October 11, 2009
Tickets are still available for the Second Annual Oxnard College Foundation “Tardeada” Scholarship Fundraiser to be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Casa Lopez Restaurant in downtown Oxnard. The “Tardeada” has long been a traditional Sunday afternoon gathering for generations for southwestern families. Oxnard College President Richard Durán and the Executive Board of the Oxnard College Foundation welcome the opportunity to meet with Oxnard community at this distinctive, cultural event. Casa Lopez Restaurant is located at 325 South “A” Street, with free parking available in the nearby public parking structure. Guests will be able to enjoy a Mexican buffet and a no-host bar with dance music featuring salsa and other styles. Tickets are $30 per person for advance tickets at the OC udent Business Office and $40 at the door. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
